Electric Airsoft Rifles use batteries as their power source, they're usually fully automatic, and they shoot very fast. If you are looking for continuous fire fun, this is the type of Airsoft Gun for you - just hold down the trigger and watch those BBs stream out, one after the other, in a straight, swift line - which means fun and entertainment, plain and simple. This Electric Airsoft Rifle doesn't require any pumping just simply point and shoot. This is a high end electric Airsoft gun. Please only use .20 gram high quality BBs with this item in order to keep it in working order. Using anything else as ammunition for this gun will void the warranty and may cause it to jam. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this Airsoft gun.

As usual my main complaint with HobbyTron is a "bait and switch" sort of deal, the gun advertised (and the one I bought) said it was by KJ Works, the gun on the receipt is a Jing Gong, and the sticker in the mag-well of the gun says UK Arms. I wish HobbyTron would simply be forthcoming about what brand gun will actually be received by the customer. I don't mind buying lower-quality or "knock-off" guns, but I wish it would say exactly what they were to begin with so I don't feel like I'm being tricked.
(If this is not intentional on the part of HobbyTron and is simply a listing error, I will retract my above statement, however this is the second product purchased on this site that I've had this problem with.)
Small, insignificant "problems";
The stock is a little wobbly, and I can't see how it could be fixed seeing as it isn't adjustable. The advertised rifle had a steel flash-hider with a painted orange tip, the rifle I received had a solid-orange plastic flash-hider. The advertised rifle also had a "bakelite" grip, but the rifle I received had a black plastic grip. The battery was unmarked, meaning it doesn't say it's voltage or amperage or even materials of construction, but it functions normally. The charger is a VERY cheaply-made unit, but it functions normally.
More serious problems;
The selector lever on my particular unit was bent so badly that the rifle will not go into the "safe" position, I would have removed, bent and reinstalled the lever, but the Philips-head screw that holds the lever to the gun was stripped badly from the factory. The screws that hold the charging handle to the blowback mechanism are backed out slightly, and as such they catch on the battery during operation. I would've fixed this, but again, the screws were stripped from the factory. I will most likely buy higher quality replacement screws and repair these issues. Wires and connections for the gearbox are kind of "crammed" under the lid, so it's possible to crush or cut them if you aren't careful. My rear sights were also missing.
Everything on the gun is stamped steel except the grip, flash-hider, magazine and fore-end. The grip, flash-hider and magazine are all decent-quality plastic. The fore-end is some kind of cheap pine wood, which is fine, it looks good and has a nice finish on it.
The gun itself seems to be good quality, it shoots nice and straight and is quite accurate out to 35-40 yards. After 40 yards the BBs could go anywhere, typical of any airsoft gun. No complaints in the performance department.
A decent buy for $150 (shipping and handling included). I would definitely recommend this rifle and HobbyTron to a friend, however I wish they would address the "advertised vs. received" problem, and perhaps do a little quality control to ensure problems like the bent selector lever don't make it to the customer.

the overall gun is great quality it being made completely of steel and wood the only plastic on the gun is the muzzle piece the trigger and the grip also the wires for the battery snap are in a position where they could get cut of damaged by the receiver or the blow-back function my final complaint is that the screws on the blowback function easily come unscrewed over all this gun great for new airsofters and im sure that the intermidiate player wouldnt mind it.
