The Worlds Largest Gyro RC Helicopter is here! Introducing the brand new Colossus Gyro METAL 3.5CH RC Helicopter. Measuring in at 4 feet long the Colossus RC Helicopter is a massive beast that is super easy to control with its brand new Gyro Technology. No more crashing, no more replacing parts, the GYRO has changed the Helicopter industry completely, making this RC Helicopter super easy to fly and maneuver. Great for people of all skill levels, this bad boy features a coaxial rotor a single rear rotor for precise movement and a GYRO for increased stability whether flying or hovering. This RC helicopter has a metal body making it strong yet light weight so you don't have to worry about breaking anything when you land it a bit too rough. It can go forward, backward, up, down, left, right and hover. What really makes the Colossus stand out is the built in gyroscope making it automatically stabilize allowing you to focus on flying instead of trying not to make it crash. The best thing about the Colossus is that it comes ready to run right out of the box, there is no assembly required. All you need to do is charge the battery and get 8 AA batteries for the transmitter and you are good to go.

I have owned this chopper for 2 yrs. It fly's smooth and steady. Great for taking video's from the air. I changed the tail rotor blade. A tail blade from a 53" QS8006 works great. Forward speeds are greatly increases and it can handle up to 5 mph winds with ease. A easy and cheap modification that makes a huge difference in this birds performance. It can get away from you on high speed so take some time getting used to the speed difference. Also, there is no warning when the battery is getting low. It just shuts off and drops from the sky. Keep an eye on the time when flying at high altitudes.

Just got it, tail went on easy enough. Looks awesome, flight test soon as it warms up enough outside. Tested it indoors to insure blades spun well. Only question I have, in order to replace the battery on the helicopter, and switch it with the replacement one I am ordering, as well as changing the front cover, how do I remove the cockpit? Be great if it just flipped up and off. I've flipped it off a few times not being able to remove it, <pun intended> hence no access to the battery. Also been looking for support online.

i have flown many 4,5 and 6 channel helis and i thought it would be fun to get a 3 channel to have fun with. it was one of the best desicions i ever made. but the only problem was that the heli constantly went backwards... ealily solved by gluing or taping 3 aa batteries under the battery pack. if you are thinking about buying this definately buy it!!!

Questions & Answers
After sitting on the shelf for 4-5 years, i finally got the colossus out, charged it up and took it out to fly for the first time.
the side marker lights come on but the rotors won't spin, which leads to it not wanting to take off or fly.i can not see any loose wires inside and nothing looks as if it isn't connected inside either.
is there a checklist that i could use to trace the problem or can you give me some idea of why this beautiful thing won't fly
thanks in advance!
What is the maximum payload i'm thinking of the weight of adding a digital camera. are there any recommended cameras for use with this model?
Flight time with full charge what size battery is included?
Are replacement parts available for this helicopter my husband is pretty hard on rc helicopters and it seems like i am always ordering spare parts for him.?
