VU Meter - 2x10 LED Stereo VU Meter Kit

This unit allows you to instantly visualize signal levels from a whole range of different audio sources. For use with mixing panels, amplifiers, CD players, radio's, etc. A special input is provided, which allows direct connection to a speaker output*. You can select DOT or BAR mode, to suit your application. The kit comes with an attractive display window, which can be used both horizontal and vertical. If nescessary, the unit can be calibrated by means of a trim potentiometer.

Hook it up to a Video camera through a standard stereo headphone 1/8 mini jack: This has terminal pins to solder to. With an adapter cable you make from the headphone jack to the PCB, you can use it as described. Requires a 10-15vdc power supply at 250mA.

* Do not connect to the speaker output of high power car stereo systems !
