Calls for User-Generated Videos of the Picco Z in Action

site, two second place winners will win $500 shopping sprees each and 10 third
place winners will each receive $50 HobbyTron.com gift certificates.

OREM, Utah – Nov. 16, 2006 – HobbyTron.com, one of the Web’s leading suppliers of remote control toys, today launched a worldwide contest calling for the most creative user-generated videos featuring the Picco Z mini remote control helicopter, this year’s hottest r/c toy.

The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 shopping spree on the HobbyTron.com Web site. Two second place winners will each be awarded a $500 HobbyTron.com shopping spree, and 10 honorable mention winners will each receive a $50 gift card toward any purchase through HobbyTron.com.

In order to be eligible, the videos must be posted on either YouTube or Google Video with a link of the video submitted on the HobbyTron.com Web site. Winners will be judged on creativity and originality of content.

“I did a search the other day and found that together the Google Video and YouTube sites had about 30 videos of the Picco Z posted from users all over the world,” said Jim Royer, president of HobbyTron.com. “I am always impressed with how creative people can be. This contest will highlight the creativity and skills of Picco Z users of all ages, as well as the amazing functionality of the world’s smallest r/c helicopter.”

According to HobbyTron.com, in addition to the prizes, winning videos may also be considered for use in future marketing campaigns for the Picco Z.

Official contest entry rules and guidelines

• Videos must feature the Picco Z;
• Videos must be submitted by Picco Z owners;
• Entries may not contain any dangerous, violent or illegal acts (the videos are intended to showcase users’ creativity in movie making and skills in flying the Picco Z);
• Videos submitted may not contain pornographic or adult material of any kind (This restriction precludes nudity and sexual or sensual situations or innuendos);
• Videos submitted must be the property of the person submitting it, videos may not contain copyrighted material;
• Entry is official once the URL of the video on either Google Video or YouTube Web sites has been submitted on the HobbyTron.com Web site, which will be confirmed via an email to the entrant;
• HobbyTron.com reserves the right to reject any video submitted;

 

• Winners are responsible for any state, federal or other taxes or duties resulting from the receipt of prizes. Without exception, the full values of winnings will be declared on customs forms, if prizes are to be shipped outside the United States of America;
• Emails for entry must be received on or before 5PM (Mountain Standard Time) Sunday, December 31, 2006. Emails received after this date will be disqualified.
• HobbyTron.com will notify winners within 30 days of the end of the contest.
• Winning videos become the property of HobbyTron.com (a dba of Absolute Toy Marketing, Inc.).
