Small enough to hold on the palm of one’s hand, the lightweight and durable Palm-Z mini remote control (RC) indoor airplane represents yet another step in the mini RC trend. Building off the success of the mini RC helicopters, the Palm-Z represents advances in micro technology yet unseen, resulting in an affordable mini RC airplane great for novices and expert flyers.
The Palm-Z sets itself apart from traditional RC airplanes. The Palm-Z is virtually ready to fly right out of the box. (An initial charge of 20-30 minutes is required before the first flight and four AA batteries are required for the controller /charger.) It is designed to fly indoors only and flies more slowly and is easier to control. Finally, the Palm-Z’s body is made out of tough Polypropylene foam, able to withstand most crashes into walls, ceilings and floors. (We can’t promise it will win against a ceiling fan.)
