Guaranteed Security Policy
We at HobbyTron.com guarantee that your credit card and personal information are 100% safe and secure through the use of 256-bit SSL encryption technology. In addition to your information being secure, all data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
We also protect you against possible fraudulent charges on your credit card. If a third party places a fraudulent order with your credit card to HobbyTron.com, you will not be responsible for more than $50. In addition, HobbyTron.com will pay the $50 for you, resulting in $0 liability to you.
Here at HobbyTron.com your privacy is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we will not sell, rent, share or loan your personal information to any unrelated third parties.
Cookies are small bits of information stored on your computer that keep track of items in your shopping cart. They personalize your visit throughout the site and let us know if you have visited HobbyTron.com before. It is possible to navigate Hobbytron.com without cookies, however, by not accepting cookies you may increase the time it takes you to navigate through our site. How to Buy
We make it easy for you to buy from HobbyTron.com!
- Add the items you want to your Shopping Cart,
- Confirm your order, and
- Proceed to Checkout.
Adding an item to your Shopping Cart
When you find the item you want, simply click on the Add to Cart button. This will add the item to your Shopping Cart. Your cart will show you the cost of the item selected and the applicable shipping cost. In your Shopping Cart you can change the quantity of items you have ordered, select your location (sales tax applies to orders made in California), empty your cart, select payment type, enter a separate shipping address, continue shopping, or proceed to checkout.
Confirming your order
After you have added items to your Shopping Cart, check your order for accuracy. When you are satisfied that the information is correct, proceed to Checkout by clicking the Checkout button.
At Checkout, enter your billing address and payment information. When you are ready to submit your order, click on Submit This Order. Your information will be sent to us through our SECURE server and shipped promptly.
Best Price Policy
Our Best Price Policy is that we can most often meet or beat any verified advertised price of in-stock items (in stock with the competitor and we have it in stock also) at the time of purchase from us. Our goal is to give you the lowest price at the highest quality and service, on or off the internet!
Errors and Omissions
PRICE AND/OR DESCRIPTION CHANGES All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other HobbyTron.com publications are subject to change. HobbyTron.com maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, HobbyTron.com reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies. Errors and Omissions HobbyTron.com is not liable for errors in prices listed on the site due to computer error or human error.
Shipping times and rates are only estimates and are not guaranteed. Additional shipping may be required on your order due to weight, zip code, your combination of items, or other factors. We cannot control occasional inventory shortages, shipping carrier delays, customs delays, weather delays, and other factors that can delay your shipment. However, we will do our best to get your product to you as soon as possible.
If you order more than one item Next Day Air or Second Day Air Shipping, all items in stock will be shipped immediately as requested. Any backordered items will be shipped by Ground or US Mail upon arrival. Items listed with (Free Shipping) receive free ground shipping.
Returned free shipping items, undeliverable packages, and refused items will be charged an appropriate shipping charge. Any free shipping orders returned for a refund will be subject to a shipping cost fee of $10. If the package is refused, a return shipping fee will also be inured. If we warranty the item directly then we will pay the shipping charges to send you the repaired or replacement item.
Free Shipping on all orders over $149 subtotal. Valid for Ground Shipping only, plus a small processing fee of $2.99. Offer not eligible for International, Alaska and Hawaii shipments.
We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers.
At checkout, Click the "International Customer Click Here To Pay" Button. Once you click the button, you will be automatically transferred to Bongo's Secure International Checkout page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.
Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase and then re-purchase those items from our site on your behalf. We will ship the goods to Bongo's Global Distribution Facility and they will be forwarded to your international address.

Order Fulfillment Policy
Most in-stock items will be shipped within 2-3 business days. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase any airsoft products.
For out-of-stock items, you will be notified of any delay. You must pay all orders in advance (at the time of order), even for out-of-stock items.
Once your order is processing and sent to the warehouse it cannot be edited or canceled.
HobbyTron.com guarantees that you will get a new working product(s) or you can return the product(s) for repair or replacement. Color, frequency, and packaging may vary. The warranty does not cover any free gift items. Occasionally items run out or are discontinued from a specific manufacturer. We reserve the right to send items of equivalent function in order to fill your order in a timely manner.
Any Free Items or Monthly Giveaway Items are Limited to One Per Order, Per Shipping Address.
In some cases, such as during the rush before Christmas, we reserve the right to upgrade your order to an item(s) that is completely different but that is lots of fun - hand picked by our experts to get you a fun gift in a timely manner. If you are unhappy with the exchanged or upgraded item, you can return it unopened per the usual policies.
Magic Tricks/Items Policy
Magic items are different than just about anything else you will ever purchase. Magic items are made up of two things:
(1) The magic item itself and
(2) the secret to how the trick is done.
When you purchase magic from us you are purchasing the secret too. Since you cannot return your knowledge of the secret we cannot accept a return on any magic items. All magic sales are final.
The manufacturer accepts returns on magic items that have a manufacturers defect. Please see our RMA Policy on how to return a magic item with a defect from the manufacturer.
Please ask questions before purchasing any magic items. Hobbytron.com does not accept returned merchandise of this type. All returns are directed to the manufacturer.
Kits - No Returns
Kits cannot be returned for any reason. You may contact the manufacturer of the item for missing parts, or if the kit does not work, however we cannot accept them as returns.
Gift Certificate / Gift Card
All Gift Certificates / Gift Cards purchased through HobbyTron.com are final and cannot be refunded. You will receive your Gift Certificate / Gift Card via email with instructions and pin number after purchase. Gift Certificates / Gift Cards can only be used online.
Coupons are applied to the order sub total and the customer is required to pay any tax or shipping costs. Only 1 Coupon per order can be applied. Coupons are exclude from the following items: RedCat Racing, Traxxas, HPI, G&G, Sale Items, 1 Day Deal, Refurbished and Wholesale
Disclaimer: All of our airsoft guns are required and sold with an orange tip. It is illegal to remove the orange tip. Removing the orange tip will void your warranty. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase any airsoft gun. We are not responsible for any harm or accident caused by any misuse of these airsoft guns. Our guns are also tested with .12 gram BB's.
RC Electric and Nitro Planes / RC Helicopter Policy
Electric and Nitro Planes / Helicopters can not be returned to HobbyTron.com. All returns for Nitro and Electric Planes / Helicopters are directed to the manufacturer unless we are the direct importer. You can call or email us to get the manufacturer contact info (please include your order number).
RMA (Return of Merchandise Policy)
Please read below for your return policy. You must have an RMA number to return merchandise, so please fill out our form at Request a RMA. After you receive your RMA number you must returned all items back to HobbyTron.com in 14 days or less.
In order to ensure satisfaction with your purchase, we request the following:
- IF DAMAGED IN SHIPPING: If your package arrives damaged during shipping, please refuse the package or return to UPS shipping location within 24 hours marked "Refused due to shipping damage." You must then call us so we can file a claim with UPS. Failure to do so will result in loss of refund or replacement by UPS.
- KEEP PACKAGING: Save boxes, packaging material, and paperwork. Don't throw anything way. They are required items for all warranty issues.
- READ INSTRUCTIONS: Read the instructions carefully and completely. Many of the items we sell can be damaged the first time if used improperly. Improper use will void your warranty. Note not all items come with instruction.
- START SLOWLY: Take your time to get familiar with the items to prevent accidental damage.
To receive an RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization) number you must go to Hobbytron.com , click on Contact us, and request an RMA. If you are requesting an RMA# for multiple items on an order, please include them all on the same RMA form. After submitting the request you will be contacted within 24 hours via email. Mail all returns to 24700 Ave. Rockefeller Santa Clarita, CA 91355. You must return all packaging, manuals, and items included in the original product box, along with your packing slip and a detailed explanation of the defect within 30 days of receipt. It generally takes 2-3 weeks to process a return after it is received. You will be contacted via email as soon as the return has been processed.
Unopened items must be returned within 30 days of receipt in order to receive a refund. We accept returns for refunds on new, unopened, unused items. There will be an additional 20% restocking fee charged to any item returned for a refund. The restocking fee does not apply for an Exchange. Replacement orders are not eligible for refunds. Open items that are defective are returnable for a replacement, a repair, or an in-store credit.
Many of our items are covered by a manufacturer warranty; therefore you will need to return them to the manufacturer only. The following is a list of SKU (Item Number) prefixes that we DO NOT warranty. Please check on your packing slip or in your order confirmation email to confirm which company to call. All other products are under warranty by HobbyTron.com.
*Please note that Team SD does not accept returns on the SD-R5, SD-R6, SD-R8, SD-R5E, SD-R6E. You will need to return those items to us as we cover their warranty.
If your product ID/SKU starts with any of the above abbreviations you will need to call the manufacturer listed to the right of the SKU Abbreviation on the left for return/warranty information. For example, if your item is SD-MP5XYZ you would need to call Team SD listed above. We cannot accept returns from those manufacturers. If your item abbreviation is note listed above, then HobbyTron.com will warranty the item directly.
Open items are not returnable for a refund, however they do have a repair or replacement warranty. If you receive a defective item simply call the manufacturer for help. If you are unable to locate the manufacturer contact information you may submit your question here at: Customer Service, or call (818) 675-9000, and we will provide the manufacturer contact information.
We apologize in advance on behalf of the manufacturer for any defective items you may receive. Please understand that defects do occur occasionally. We know how frustrating this can be, and we want to help you receive a working product as quickly as possible.
Please Note: Any item that was opened and played with and was in working condition out of the box is NOT considered a defect. Therefore we will not accept the return.
A defective item is an item that arrives undamaged in shipping, but unable to function properly. The item must not have any visible damage and must clearly be from manufacturing issues. Please note, attempting to return merchandise you have damaged is mail fraud and you may be subject to prosecution. Returns for opened items that are not defective, or returned items with damage caused by you will receive at most a 20% refund. If we warranty the item directly then we will pay the shipping charges to send you the repaired or replacement item.
PLEASE NOTE: Items returned to us without an RMA# will be refused. Items returned to us with an RMA# must be received within 30 days of the RMA issuance, and will be refunded appropriately within 10 business days. Please allow up to two billing cycles for your refund to appear on your credit card statement. A returned item with damage caused by you will receive at most a 20% refund, will immediately be discarded, and you may be subject to a $30 per hour administration charge and prosecution for mail fraud. Attempting to do a credit card chargeback for returns not in compliance with our policies will incur an administration fee of $50 per chargeback. We are not responsible for shipping charges or return shipping charges on defective or returned items unless you are missing an item from your order. Returned free shipping items and refused items will be charged an appropriate shipping cost. If we warranty the item directly then we will pay the shipping charges to send you the repaired or replacement item.
You MUST have an RMA number to exchange any merchandise.
We want you to feel totally satisfied when you order products from HobbyTron.com. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, call us so we can resolve any concerns. You will be asked to follow these simple steps:
- Make sure your original invoice is dated within the last 30 days. Call us at (818) 675-9000 to receive an RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization) number.
- Check all returned items to be sure they are in new condition (including all original packaging and accessories.)
- Include a copy of the original invoice. On the back of the invoice, please write your name, e-mail address, phone number, and the item(s) you would like to receive in exchange for the return.
- Pack the item(s) securely and mail to: HobbyTron.com, 24700 Avenue Rockefeller, Santa Clarita, CA 91355.
- Shipping charges are not refunded. You will be responsible for the return shipping fees incurred to send the item(s) back to us.
Refer A Friend
Hobbytron's Refer-A-Friend program is a Qualifying Activity by which you may earn Hobby Bucks if a non-Hobbytron customer you refer makes a qualifying purchase on Hobbytron.com. You may earn up to a maximum of $10 in Hobby Bucks over the lifetime of your participation across all referrals ("Lifetime Program Limit"). You must be eligible to accumulate and redeem Hobby Bucks, maintain a Hobbytron account in good standing, and be under the Lifetime Program Limit in order to be eligible to earn Hobby Bucks through the Refer-A-Friend program.
To participate, refer friends who are not current Hobbytron members and who have never purchased from the Hobbytron.com ("New User") by sending them your personal referral link ("unique link"), available in your Hobbytron member section or provided to you as a recipient of an invite-only special offer. If the New User clicks your unique link, registers on the Site and makes an initial Hobbytron purchase of ten dollars ($10) or more ("Eligible Offer"), Hobbytron will email you the Hobby Bucks you are eligible to receive, up to the Lifetime Program Limit.
Hobbytron may provide various tools to help you disseminate your unique link. You may also share your unique link via email and social media. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHENEVER YOU DECIDE TO SHARE YOUR UNIQUE LINK YOU MUST TELL YOUR FRIENDS THAT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE Hobby Bucks (STORE CREDIT) IF THEY SIGN UP AND MAKE A QUALIFYING PURCHASE. Failure to disclose this information is a violation of this Agreement and Hobbytron may terminate you immediately from the Refer-A-Friend program, disqualify you from participating in the Refer-A-Friend program in the future, and cause the forfeiture of any of your Hobby Bucks.
Hobbytron reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Refer-A-Friend program either temporarily or permanently (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Hobbytron will not be liable to you in the event of any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Refer-A-Friend program. Hobbytron reserves the right to cancel, revoke, or otherwise prevent the issuance of Hobby Bucks in any suspected case of fraudulent use or misuse of this program.

If you are protected by a Protection Plan, we will replace your product or reimburse you with a Hobbytron gift card equal to the original purchase price of your product. We are not responsible for return shipping charge on the item that is covered by the Protection Plan.
