Log into your Commission Junction account as you normally do.

Once you are logged in, in the upper left hand corner, click the link labeled Account.

Now click on the link labeled Web site Settings.

Find PID on the page and look at the number to the right of it.

This is your PID (Publisher ID) number. This is your Publisher IDentification number with Commission Junction.
(This is how Commission Junction knows the sales you make comes from you.)

Now it's time to create an HTML text link to any product or specific page you desire.

Copy the URL of the HobbyTron.com page you would like to link to.

Example URL of the page you would like to link to:
http://www.HobbyTron.com/magic-trick.html

You'll notice above that four areas are in green. This is only to emphasize the four items you need to change.

Replace the number 1204925 in the example above with your personal PID that you found in step #4.

The URL that you want to send people is also highlighted in the example above, change http://www.HobbyTron.com/magic-trick.html to the URL you want to send people.

The word magic is where you would place the text you want for your web site, as it relates to what you are linking to.

Here is an example of how the above link would look on a page, and how it is best used as a text link:

Things to keep in mind:

1. Use text links when possible, and use them in articles, when you discuss things on your web site, etc. (As shown above where I talked about magic and a Svengali deck.) We have found that a lot of times text links out perform graphic links.

2. We never try to change URLs, but it does happen occasionally. Please check them on occasion to make sure that they are still valid links.

3. The above examples are working affiliate links. Do not use them without making the changes as shown in this tutorial or you will not receive credit for the sales you make.
