I forgot to mention something VERY important... if you replace a motor on a quad copter you need to make note of WHICH motor it is you're going to order a replacement for. Apparently some spin CW and others CCW. So the motor for the front left won't work in the front right spot. I believe my wounded pod was the right rear, but do your own due-diligence and make sure you order the correct motor from Traxxas. I could NOT find any spare parts for "World Tech Toys". Traxxas motor was identical and worked fine. Make sure you know how to solder before ordering. Also, I had to drill a small hole in the side of the pod motor mount to route the wires out of because the wires weren't long enough to reach the center of the copter without soldering on additional wire... and that solder joint would not ***** inside the tiny connecting beam that connects the motor pod to the body. I just taped the wire to the outside of the pod arm. I added equal length of tape to the other pod arms to keep the gizmo balanced.

Oh... and if you ever find it flying to the side constantly and even trimming won't fix it... check and makes sure your battery isn't shifted off center... if it's centered in the holder the chopper flies much better.

Their price is too high except when it's on sale, but a good quad copter. This is my first but I like it although more challenging than a heli, mostly because it's a bit tricky to figure out which way is 'forward'. Have to really pay attention to the color of the blades. First things first, make sure you take 4 equal lengths of vinyl tape (maybe 3/4" long) and wrap around the motors and the mounting pods. After only 2-3 flights/crashes one of the motors popped out and I stupidly just pushed it back into the 'pod' again. Another few flights/crashes, again it popped out. After replacing that same motor when it popped out the 3rd time I was dismayed to find that motor no longer spun. One of the wires had broken right where the wire goes into the motor. For $10 I bought a Traxxas QR-1 Counter Clockwise Motor 6236 TRA6236 on eBay and after some creative wire routing (couldn't get the wire to go through the tiny arm channel) it's back working perfectly. I like that it comes with TWO batteries, definitely very cool. Remote has 3 modes, basic (almost all I can control it with), advanced (much more sensitive.. read: difficult), and stunt (extremely difficult to fly,but can do flips). Overall, very happy with it. Got it when it was on sale for $30 plus almost $10 shipping. Good remote. Good quad. Good fly time... tape those motors in!!!
