Not bad. There is no off switch for the lights. It is like the fourth of July, constantly. A little annoying. If you are planning to get several to race be sure to request different frequencies. I got three and two had the same frequency. :( The range is about 50 ft. Better for indoors. Two of the four clamps on the casing were broke when I pulled the first one out of the package. Feels a little cheap. What do you expect for $15 though? I'd recommend spend a little more money for something that will last.
