I have several helicopters but this is the hardest to control. Seems like the transmitter has problems but I may be the problem. I ordered the Digi Scout but was sent the FireEyes model. That was no problem but just a head's up. This is discussed in the policy acceptance box you have to check to complete you on-line order.
This thing will follow the breeze if you have any breeze at all and it is way too big for indoors unless you have access to a very large area. I still like the helicopter and maybe I will get a few still days to fly this thing. It is very rugged but parts seem to be unavailable.

tijmen - no...the camera is pretty much on its own. Put it on the heli...turn video on ...and start flying. No connection to controller. That said...it does actually take suprisingly good video. Audio as well. Plug it into a Windows 7 pc and its instantly recognized as a drive... very surprised.
I snagged this package for $80 and am very pleased with it. It's huge...durable...and pretty fun. The original battery died after a month but for what you get, this thing is tough to beat.

It is supposed to be ready to fly right out of the box, but ours was not. The battery was not connected to anything and there is nothing in the manual that tells where the plug gets plugged into. Could not find anything on the internet either. There is a red wire coming out of the battery that gets plugged into a red opening under the helicopter. Once that is connected, turn on the transmitter, then the helicopter and it's good to go.

not a bad toy to play with on a calm day, the video recorder stoped working, I am trying to purchase a new one from hobtron, waiting on a reply. I only had luck in taking videos, not enough info with instructions on taking a snap shot.

Just ordered this and have only found one other review for this product on Amazon. Unfortunately, looking into the aerial r/c toys I found little help (other then seller) describing how it works and its functionality. Will get back with a thorough review.
