Simply put, this rifle will impress you. The new M14 from UTG is the most accurate AEG we have shot to date. And it is made in China!
Construction: Being made entirely out of metal the M14 is very realistic. Even though it has no function, racking the bolt back makes a spine tingling metallic ring as the mock bolt rotates back into the receiver. The rear sight is fully adjustable and operates exactly like its real steel counterpart. The front sight / muzzle brake is removable to reveal a 14mm CW threaded muzzle. At the last minute UTG decided to include a metal scope mount which attaches to the receiver of the gun. With the mount attached you can still use the guns iron sights however the mount can be removed if you prefer. At the front of the stock is a short weaver rail for mounting a bi-pod, laser or flashlight.
The ABS plastic stock is coated with a rubbery olive drab finish that will really help your grip and blends well into wooded areas. It is a bit of a squeeze however we were able to fit a 8.4v 4200mah battery pack into the stock of this rifle.
Performance: Never have we seen a rifle that produced such consistence groupings at long range. If you aim at a milk jug 50 yards away, it is almost a sure thing that you will hit it with one shot. This rifle is incredibly accurate. While it is intended for the role of a sharpshooter this rifle can fire fully automatic and will lay down a withering barrage of fire in a matter of seconds.
The M14 features a full metal Version 7 gearbox with metal gears which runs so smoothly you would swear it was a Marui gearbox. The gearbox is fully upgradeable with Marui compatible upgrade parts.
