This weapon weighs 17 lbs which is the same weight as the real M249 SAW that I carried in the Army. This one is like carrying it unloaded. Try adding an extra 5 lbs for ammunition. If you want the closest thing to being real this is it. Great weapon but the real thing is slightly more fun for obvious reasons.
