There is a slide release on the right Side of the gun I used to have that problem alot with Ming the slide release is a nice thing to have for when you dropping in or reloading the magazine you drop the mag in click down the slide relase and fire at any thing you can hit

The stinger p9 is an execlent starting gun but it is highly suggested that you use a .2 gram bb in it. If you use a .12 gram ur accuracy will be horrible.This was my first airsoft gun and I wasn't happy when it disappeared from my room a few months ago. Caution this gun, unless used by a very skilled player cannot match any decent AEG and it takes a while to learn how to aim it properly. Overall I loved this gun but when it came to the JG M4s you can't put up much of a fight.
